Portland Trip

Labor Day weekend we ventured to Portland to visit Mike's brother Matt. He moved there last October and we wanted to visit before the baby came. We had a wonderful time. As you can see, we did a good mix of relaxing and sights. We were very much in vacation mode. Matt has a houseboat, or the locals call it a floating home. It was very unique and peaceful. Enjoy the pictures.

Jill hanging out on the deck. We enjoyed hanging out by the fire at night.

This is a waterfall we saw. Very beautiful.

Mike in front of the Columbia River. The river was very low.

Matt treated us to a par three golf course for Mike's birthday. The course was called The Pub Course. There was no hole over 89 yards. The place made its own wine, beer, and distilled it's own alcohol. Here is the vineyard that was off one of the holes. We also enjoyed fresh blackberries along the way.

Matt works for Nautilus. Mike tried to get a few reps in. This was the employee fitness center.

Taking a shot of gin for someone's 30th birthday. This was the clubhouse to the golf course.
