A trip to Grandma and Grandpa Brazzale's...

Jill and the kids took a trip to see the grandparents a few weeks ago. They had a wonderful time. Ben and Hannah got to meet a new friend Nolan ( Jill's friend Tanya just had her second son on June 9th) and got to spend lots of time with Grandma and Grandpa Brazzale and Grandma Jenny. Mike got some r and r while we were away too. The kids got to hang out with their cousin Grant. Grandma found a sandbox at a garage sale so we decided to put water in it and make it a pool. The kids had a blast.

Ben's Baptism

Ben was welcomed into the church community on June 13th. We had a beautiful celebration with family and friends and Ben was a great little boy, did not make a peep.

Great cake.

First Haircut TODAY!

It is hard to believe Hannah is 2 1/2 and today was the day to get her first haircut. She sat very nice and had fun with the car and the Micky Mouse movie. We are pretty sure Ben will need a haircut a lot sooner than 2 1/2.

Getting ready for the first snip.
All eyes on the Micky Mouse movie.

Here is the comparison of the back
which was cut and the front with was still long.

All smiles.

Cheese!

Sausage Race

Jill and Mike got out without the kids last week, we went to the Brewer game. We had fabulous third row seats (thanks to Jill's brother Jon.) We were right where the sausage race ends at Miller Park. ENJOY!

The Bumbo

Ben's first time in the Bumbo.
He is not too sure.

Let's try it again.
Much better.

2 months old

Ben is 2 months old and is learning many new things. He can smile, blow bubbles, and see across the room. He loves to be talked to and likes to "talk" back to you too. He had his 2 month well check this week and he is doing everything a 2 month old should be doing and more. He was 12 pounds 13 ounces and is 23 inches long. He still has a big head, in the 80%. Like the nurse said, lots of brains. He is getting so big. This month he gave us 2 nights of full sleep, 10-6. We will see what the next month brings. Enjoy this video of him playing patty cake with mom.

Devil's Lake

Hannah, Mike and Uncle Jon took a hike around Devil's Lake a few weeks ago. While Jill and Ben took a hike around the outlet mall in Wisconsin Dells. Everyone seemed to have a blast.

Dream Park

We went to a local park on Memorial Day that is a "dream" for kids. It has all the things a typical park has plus it has little forts and many places to play make believe. As you will see, Hannah had so much fun trying all the different things out. This will be a place to visit again this summer.

Hannah says "maybe "some day" Ben
will be able to enjoy the things at the park."

There were many cool slides.

Cool stairs.

Jump around.
Much concentration.

The good old swings were still the favorite.

Madtown Twisters Playdate

Hannah and Ben had a play date with the Spredemann kids and some of their friends last week. Ben stuck by mom most of the day while Hannah had a blast running around, playing on the trampolines, riding the "roller coaster" and more. We are soon going to be looking for some sort of gymnastics class because Hannah really enjoyed it. It was a great play date for a rainy day!

Memorial Day Weekend

We spent most of Memorial Day weekend in Sheboygan. We finally got to spend time with our dear friends the Peterson's. Hannah loved playing with Erin and Emily and all of their toys. We also got to spend time with Hannah's boyfriend Bryce and his family. We were excited for them to finally meet Ben. It was nice to see the kids interact, and to have some adult conversations with great friends. The Brazzale family had their annual homemade ravioli dinner on Sunday. Ben got to meet many second cousins and great aunts and uncles. Mike had never had the dinner before and loved it. We all know how much he loves Italian! We took the kids to see Great Great Aunt Linda in the nursing home. It was great therapy for her. She is 95 and has recently been diagnosed with cancer. She lit up when she saw Ben. Enjoy the pictures!
