Hannah had her two year check last week and everything went well. This little girl has grown so much in a year both physically and emotionally. She weighs 26 pounds which is a gain of 9 pounds in one year, which is great for her. She is now average in weight and height (33 1/2 inches) but still has above average head size. The doctor was very happy with her social skills and she took her one shot like she had never had a shot before. I think she had forgotten what it was like, and cried quite a bit. But still got a sticker at the end anyway, which made the visit worth it.

Mom is 29 weeks pregnant and feeling pretty well. She had been hit with a few winter sniffles that have been hard to manage at times because she cannot take anothing. She seems to have forgotten all the aches and pains of pregnancy, but I think God does that on purpose. But overall, feels well. The baby's heartbeat was about 150 this month. So take your guesses for what gender it might be. We have had anything from 150 to 170. This baby is VERY active, especially after dinner. It is sitting "hammock" style as the dr. put it this week. We will try and get a belly picture next week at 30 weeks.

Here are some fun pictures we have captured in the last month. Enjoy!

Silly Hannah!

It was very cold in Wisconsin last week. Jill actually had off of school two days because the windchill was negative temperatures. So to "get out" a bit, we walked the halls of our apartment building. Hannah liked to push her babies in the stroller and pull them in her wagon she got for her birthday. We had a little cabin fever after the two days.

Last Saturday, we went to The Children's Museum in Madison. It was the first time we went. Hannah was at a great age to enjoy it. Here she is in the fossil area. She had fun playing in the sand, something she has not seen for awhile.

Where is the water mom?
This was in the Garden Exhibit.

Wearing a silly hat!

Hannah had a treat last week, jello with whipped cream.
I think she liked it!

Hannah had another treat when we were off from
day care/ school, frosting with graham crackers.

We took Hannah to a McDonald's that had a play area.
This was a new experience for her. She loved the slide.

This was her treat after the play area.
We had to use something to convince her it was time to go!

Finally, I get to go outside.
It has been very cold, so Hannah has
not been able to enjoy the snow very much.

Look at these Snow Angels.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Merry Christmas and Happy 2009! We hope this entry finds you all healthy and happy in 2009. We had a wonderful Holiday season as you will see through the pictures. We were able to get to all of our Holidays parties, even if the weather was not always too nice. We have learned quickly how fast we had forgotten about the cold temperatures in Wisconsin. We can tolerate the snow, but the cold has been hard to take at times. Hannah and Mike were healthy through the Holidays, however Jill had some sort of cold that lasted what seemed to be forever. But it was tolerable and she still found the Holidays enjoyable.

Hannah was a whole new kid this Holiday Season. She loved the images of Santa, Frosty and Baby Jesus. She was did not feel like sitting on Santa's lap, but did like his beard and everything about him. She had a blast opening up gifts. She was onto the next gift before really checking out the gift she had just opened. I am not sure what her favorite was, but she has not stopped putting on the Lip Smacker (she calls it lipstick) my cousin Jason and his wife Jenny gave her. She loved to sing "jingle Bells" and "Frosty the Snowman."

As we look back on 2008, we have been truly blessed. We have enjoyed watching Hannah grow into toddlehood. We cannot wait to see what is instore for 2009. We were lucky to be able to move back to Wisconsin to be closer to most of our family and friends. Mike and Jill both found jobs that they both like a lot. But we miss our Colorado family and friends dearly. We hoping 2009 will bring us good fortune by selling our townhome. We were blessed to annouce we were adding to our family in 2008. We look forward to meeting this special gift from God in April 2009.
