Saturday at te Zoo.....

A few weekends ago the weather finally got warm enough to get outside. We ventured to the zoo and had a great time. Hannah had a blast seeing all the animals. She has a Barney DVD that goes to the zoo so she kept saying "Giraffes, just like Barney does. " It was fun to see her excitement about all the animals.

Hannah had fun watching this giraffe "lick" the green container.

Many of the animals were inside because the
40 degree weather was still a little cold for them.
Hannah liked the long legs of the flamingos.

We sang " Alice the Camel."

It was neat to see the Lions outside with the snow.

This little girl was smiles the whole day!

Valentine Cookies....

Hannah had fun helping mom cut out heart cookies to decorate for Valentine's Day. We had fun decorating them with our friends Jen and Allie. We shared them with them and with the kids at day care. They turned out pretty yummy!

Rollin' them out.
Hannah liked it that she got her own dough this time.
We pretended that we baked it, it was a little floury!

Hannah loved to put more flour on the surface, just like mom.
Can you tell?

Big Girl Bed

We finally broke down and bought Hannah a Big Girl Bed. She has been in it for about a week. The transition we were somewhat dreading has gone very smoothly. She loves it! She even yells in the morning or after her nap, "Daddy, I am awake!" and we go and get her. We are waiting for the day she crawls out. But for now, she is loving it!

Showing off her new bed!

This is heaven!

Winter Walk

A few weekends ago the temperature started to finally climb a bit for us to take a hike on a local trail. We had a lot of fun looking for animals and listening to the birds. Hannah loves to be in the backpack carrier. We have a feeling this will be a staple thing to do this spring and summer.

Lego Lady

Hannah loves to play with her Legos. Her "towers" seem to be getting taller and taller. She actually had to get out her big stool. She was pretty proud.
