The Romantic City of Venice....

The last (planned) stop on our trip was in Venice. We spent a couple nights exploring the city's narrow streets and canals. On our last night in town we celebrated our 2 year anniversary.

Dropping off our tiny car. Besides a little leakage of the
A/C unit our Lancia Ypislon was great. Not much power
to spare, but it fit well in the narrow streets.

Jill testing out our room in Venice.

Best bathroom on the trip.

St. Marks Square was packed with tourists by
day, but better at night when local 4 piece bands
would play music and the square is less crowded.

Jill in St. Marks Square waiting for
the pigeon invasion.

A one Euro package of pigeon seed is
endless entertainment.

All done.

The Bridge of Sighs

Jill's yummy pizza. Our eyes were bigger than
our stomachs as we each got a pizza this size.

We took a gondola ride to celebrate our anniversary.

Our gondolier hard at work.

Dinner on the canal. We still weren't tired
of Italian food.
