23 months and Halloween

Halloween

Hannah
had a blast being Elmo for Halloween. She had a Halloween party at her day care where she dressed up the night before. She went from room to room collecting all sorts of goodies. Grandma Brazzale got to come along to see the festive event. Hannah went trick or treating with grandma at the mall near our house the morning of Halloween and then also got to go with her good friends Allie and Cameron the eve of Halloween. She collected lots of things and loves to count them and play with her treasures. She seems to have forgotten about the candy which is good for her pearly whites ( and mom and dad too).

Hannah also helped carve her first Jack O Lantern with her dad while mom had conferences one night. It was fun to see her touch and explore the "guts" of the pumpkin as well as want to "draw" on the pumpkin too. Dad was very create and gave her an apple and her own marker to draw on.

Dinner with the Spredemann's.
Having fun after trick or treating.

Trick or treating.
Hannah met a dog along the way.
She loved that!

She was the only Elmo we saw (with the exception of her cousin Grant)
in the two days she dressed up.

Taking a break with Allie.

What a big girl, walking all by herself.
Towards the end she got tired and wanted to be carried.

We had two silly Elmos on our hands a few weeks ago.

Feeling the "Guts" of the pumpkin.

"Drawing" on her apple.

I love drawing!
Markers are a mess at this point.
So we have to take her shirt off anytime she works with markers.

23 months
"What you doing, mamma?" " I love it!" "Come on Daddy!" These are just a few on the phrases Hannah's loves to say on a daily basis. She continues to surprise us with her vocabulary. Sometimes we are in aw how she knows some of the words she uses, and uses them right in a sentence. It is amazing.

This month she had many visits from family. Grandma Jenny came to visit and babysit while mom and dad went to a Badger tailgate party. Uncle Jon came to hang out and play. And Grandma Brazzale came to visit for a long weekend. Hannah decorated cookies with her, and we did some shopping, just the girls. She also had a visit from her second cousin Violet. They had fun swimming at the hotel Violet was staying at.

Hannah loves to play with her babies. She gives them baths, covers them up with blankets, gives them rides in their strollers and more. She had fun pretending to read to them too. Hannah is a bookworm. She loves to read books and is always carrying books around with her. She pretends to do circle time (which is something they do at day care where they teach letters, colors, numbers and read books.) She likes to corner dad and get him to do circle time. Hannah is a cookie monster. She loves to eat any kind of cookie. She was grateful when her grandmas came because both of them brought her cookies.

Jill is 19 weeks pregant and doing well. She has started to feel the baby and looks forward to the day Hannah and Mike can too. We go in in a week and a half for the 20 week ultrasound. We are planning to not find out the gender of the baby. So you will all have to wait to find out too. Hannah says she has a baby in her belly. She seems to really like babies so we hope that it will be a smooth transition.

Cookies!
Hannah helped grandma decorate these.

Hard at work.
She liked to put "a lot" of sprinkles on!

Grandma and Hannah.

A beautiful day to play in the leaves.

"Mama, cover me up!"

We are not sure her thoughts on this one.

We love Cheetos!

Leaves, leaves and more leaves!

Notice where bear is?
Every night bear sleeps there.

Taking a hike on a nice, warm, fall day.

Playing Ring Around the Rosey with her doll.
Enjoying the warm weather.
