Fun visit at Grandma and Grandpa Rauwerdink's
We had a great visit with the crew last Sunday. It was a great spring day. Uncle Matt was in Colorado which is always fun. We got to see Aunt Natalie for the first time in awhile. She is so big and is smiling a lot. Hannah showed off more tricks at Grandma and Grandpa's house. She rolled over from back to front for the first time. We all were very excited. But it made mom and dad nervous, let the motion begin!

A big week.....
Hannah had a big week starting on April 9. She went to the doctor for her 4 month check up. She weighs 12.5 pounds and is 24.5 inches. She is in the 60th percentile. She took her shots like a champ. Then Friday April 13th, she took her first (of many) plane rides to Wisconsin. We had our dear friends Rachel and Chris Kulow's wedding. It was very fun and Hannah got to meet many new people. We stayed at our great friends Jen, Brian and allie Spredemann's house. Hannah enjoyed meeting them. Allie was a great "baby sitter". She was always showing Hannah a great time. Hannah got a special visit from her grandmas on Saturday too. On Sunday, we ventured to Sheboygan where she got to meet more and more people. Thanks for all the people that joined us at my parents house for pizza. It was a blast. So good to everyone. On Monday, we traveled to Manitowoc where Hannah finally got to meet her Great Great Aunt Linda. It was neat to see the generations interact. Aunt Linda looks wonderful for just having hip surgery and being 93.

4 months....
Hannah turned 4 months this week. She is a delight to watch each day as she discovers new things. She loves to look at faces and smile back at people. She has found her vocal chords and uses them more and more. It is fun to see her face when she makes a new sound. She continues to do well at day care. They say she is very quiet and they love her hair (as you can see from below.) They are amazed that she can hold her own bottle already. She now kicks and plays in her bath chair. We love watching her discover how movement affects the water. She has a big week ahead of her. Monday she goes to the doctor for her 4 month check up. We are anxious to see how tall she is and how much she weighs. We are not looking forward to more shots. She also will be taking her first plane ride to WI on Friday. We are heading back for our good friends Rachel and Chris's wedding. She will meet many new people. So it will interesting how she adjusts to all the new faces and places. It will be great for her to see Grandma and Grandpa Brazzale and Grandma Jenny.

First weeks of day care......
Last week was Hannah's first week at day care. We all have transitioned pretty well. Mike takes her in the morning and Jill picks her up. We really like the first teacher. Everytime we are there she seems to have everything well under control. That helps, knowing she is in good hands. Jill has spring break coming up this week, which will be nice. She is hoping the weather stays in the 60s and 70s so Hannah and her can go for some stroller walks. Hannah has a new trick, she has rolled over 5-6 times from her tummy to her back. The first time was while mom was still on leave and dad was home for lunch, which was fun to witness. She is as smiley as ever and really has become a person these last few weeks. She loves to talk, especially when she is on the changing table. She has fun hanging out and kicking in her bath.

3 months...
Hannah is 3 months old and has many new tricks. She loves to suck her hands and especially her thumb. She sleeps through the night, which mom and dad love. She enjoys spending time in her Bumbo chair. She looks around at everything. Hannah is starting to get stronger on her feet and especially when she is on her tummy. She is starting to turn her hips and shoulders so we are thinking she will be turning over soon. She smiles a lot. For the most part she is a happy baby and only gets mad when she is tired, hungry, or frustrated about something. She coos and likes to talk. Jill goes back to work March 12th. Then the adventure of day care begins. She had her 3 month pictures taken at JCPenney yesterday so look for pictures soon. Enjoy Hannah, she is growing fast.

Baptism Weekend
We had a great weekend. Hannah got to meet Rob, Hilary and Mac (friends from WI) on Thursday for the first time. Then on Friday she finally got to meet Uncle Jeff and Aunt Kristen. Grandpa and Grandma Brazzale also traveled to CO for her baptism. We had a wonderful time with family and friends. Hannah did a great job on her big day. She loved getting her hair washed. Enjoy the pictures!

I love all my new friends.
